Ingredients
- 1 cup barley
- 1 lb mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 7 cups stock
- Fresh thyme
Method
- 1 Saute the mushrooms and onion.
- 2 Add barley, carrots, and stock.
- 3 Simmer 35 minutes.
- 4 Season with thyme and pepper.
