Italian Garlic Bread
Hand-torn bread brushed with garlic-herb butter and finished under the broiler.

Ingredients
- 1 large rustic loaf
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmigiano
- 3 tbsp chopped parsley
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Crushed red pepper
Method
- 1 Mash garlic into softened butter with parsley, parmigiano, and a pinch of salt.
- 2 Split the loaf lengthwise and brush both sides generously with the butter.
- 3 Bake at 400F for 8 minutes until the butter sinks in and the edges crisp.
- 4 Finish under the broiler for one minute, then tear into shareable pieces.
