Italian Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 large rustic loaf
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmigiano
  • 3 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Crushed red pepper

Method

  1. 1 Mash garlic into softened butter with parsley, parmigiano, and a pinch of salt.
  2. 2 Split the loaf lengthwise and brush both sides generously with the butter.
  3. 3 Bake at 400F for 8 minutes until the butter sinks in and the edges crisp.
  4. 4 Finish under the broiler for one minute, then tear into shareable pieces.
