Smoked BBQ Ribs
Pork ribs rubbed with brown sugar and spices, smoked low for tender competition-style bark.

Ingredients
- 2 racks pork ribs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 cup apple juice
- BBQ sauce
Method
- 1 Pull the membrane and coat both sides of the ribs in dry rub.
- 2 Smoke at 225F over hickory for 3 hours, spritzing with apple juice each hour.
- 3 Wrap in foil with a splash of juice and continue 90 minutes more.
- 4 Glaze with BBQ sauce and finish unwrapped 30 minutes for the bark.
