Country French Toast
Brioche soaked in vanilla custard, griddled until caramelized, and dusted with powdered sugar.

Ingredients
- 8 thick slices brioche
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Butter for griddle
- Powdered sugar and maple syrup
Method
- 1 Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon into a smooth custard.
- 2 Soak each slice for 20 seconds per side, letting the brioche fully drink the custard.
- 3 Cook on a buttered griddle over medium heat until golden, about 3 minutes per side.
- 4 Stack, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with warm maple syrup.
