Cajun Fried Shrimp
Cornmeal-crusted shrimp fried until golden, served with remoulade and lemon.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs jumbo shrimp
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil
- Remoulade
Method
- 1 Whisk eggs and buttermilk together, then dredge the shrimp.
- 2 Mix cornmeal, flour, and Cajun seasoning for the coating.
- 3 Fry the shrimp at 360F for two minutes until they float and crisp.
- 4 Serve hot with remoulade and a wedge of lemon.
